The Automotive Components Division of Windsor Mold Group is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for our manufacturing operation in Pulaski, TN.

The Automotive Components Division is a full service supplier of interior and exterior injection molded plastic components and assemblies, providing innovative solutions for automotive plastics applications to original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers.

The Engineering Manager is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of engineering activities and resources for the plant.

Education / Requirements :

Engineering degree

Injection Molding and Automotive Experience

Ability to be a hands on leader and team developer

Prefer 3+ years of experience managing people and projects

3 to 5 years of manufacturing engineering work experience is preferred

Primary Responsibilities include :

Manage engineering team to deliver production process, equipment and tooling from initial design including development tryouts both external and internal.

Introduce new processes, programs, product, and tooling systems to the manufacturing operation to improve overall productivity and maintain business opportunities.

Set costs and timing targets for the department consistent with budgets

Liaising with customers on new and existing projects

Coordinate with corporate engineering team and staff to establish and maintain ongoing technical improvement.

Employ design for manufacturing principals to ensure productivity, quality and manufacturing systems meet customer expectations.

Ensure quality system integrity by departmental involvement in APQP, PPAP, customer and supplier issues.

Manage the engineering change process, as well as safety and ergonomic process improvements.

Collaborate with plant management team to prioritize and target department opportunities.

Overall supervision of engineering staff.
