Horse Farm Laborer

Great opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual to join our Eden Farms Team. This job is available now and is a long-term, full time position (40 hours per week) on a large-scale horse farm operation. The ideal candidate will enjoy all aspects of farm-related work including but not limited to barn and stall maintenance, landscaping, and interacting with horses (moving horses through out the property, etc.). Given the required work of this position, individuals should be able to work as a team member, work with minimal supervision, enjoy working outdoors, be in good physical condition, and able to lift 60 lbs bales of hay. You will also need to be able to navigate and hike the uneven terrain of the farm. You must have a clean record, a background check will be done.

Knowledge of large farm equipment use and maintenance is required. No horseback riding experience is necessary. Employees typically work four days a week, and rotate weekends.

Eden Farms is a 40-stall Christian horse barn that provides horseback riding to the general public and is the proud home of Happy Hooves: a non-profit Therapeutic Equestrian Center that works with special needs children and adults. We are a tobacco free facility in the Dacusville area: 15 min from Easley, 30 min from Greenville. Position offers $10 hour, a great work environment and a terrific farm-related experience.
