Retail Business Manager - E&R West

Job Description

This position is based in Balcatta, WA however majority of the role will be based onsite supporting the various remote teams and driving Sodexo's retail strategy.

The Retail Business Manager is accountable for the development and implementation of innovative merchandising solutions ensuring maximum profitability is achieved within our National Retail Business. You will be working closely with key personnel across our varied retail sites to ensure consistency across the business and maximise sales and profit through effective merchandising strategies. The role requires you to be instrumental in building relationships with onsite management and sales assistants, ensuring an alignment of the retail strategy at a site and area level. Providing regular reporting on sales and profitability will form part of responsibilities in this challenging role.

Coming from a Petrol & Convenience/FMCG area management background or similar large volume retailer, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experiencein retail and merchandising management at a strategic level. With the ability to coach, mentor and develop people, your strengths will lie in managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

With a good understanding of POS systems and Microsoft suite you will have the ability to work independently as this is an essential requirement. The role will be based in Balcatta, WA with regular travel to sites required, typically this will average across 3 days per week though no one week is ever the same.
