Together, we are on a quest to change banking for good.The RoleThe Small Business Integrated Marketing team is a passionate, entrepreneurial team of strategists focused on communicating the value of Capital One’s small business products and services to prospective and existing customers. This Business Marketing Strategist role will be responsible for leading integrated product marketing plans and channel activations across Small Business Card and Small Business Bank. This person will partner closely with cross-functional teams across brand and product marketing, acquisitions and performance marketing, client development and sales, research, and other stakeholders to activate marketing in unique and memorable ways.Key Responsibilities:Tell consistent and compelling stories about our product and relationship manager offerings across marketing and sales channels to drive key business objectives around demand generation, acquisitions, and customer engagement and retention.

Provide thought leadership by leveraging insights and data to inform strategies and develop marketing and sales enablement content, collateral, and tactical plans that will effectively engage prospects and customers and drive key business outcomes.

Partner with research teams to employ marketing-generated insights to fuel integrated marketing and sales enablement growth strategies, including industry and competitive intelligence, customer and product knowledge, lead generation and warming programs.

Work closely with internal creative teams and external agencies to bring business intent to life via marketing creative. Facilitate the end-to-end creative development and execution of marketing materials.

Serve as the touchpoint within marketing to ensure an integrated experience for our customer, business, and brand for initiatives such as sales collateral, content marketing, integrated digital and social engagement, loyalty and advocacy, and customer intelligence.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:Ability to identify the wants and needs of the target customer and communicate the brand and product value to drive favorable sales outcomes.

Open-minded problem solving capability and skilled at handling whitespace work.

High level of initiative and ownership, ability to collaborate and coordinate efforts across diverse functional groups.

Self-direct and task switch between strategic and tactical initiatives regularly.

Preference to work on highly ambiguous projects – where you are expected to test hypotheses and stand up best practices that don’t exist today.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively storytell via decks.

Strong strategic planning, analytical, and creative skill set.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

At least 1 years of marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business strategy or related business management vector

1 year of B2B marketing experience in a fast-paced, technology-forward culture

Demonstrated success in defining and launching insights-driven integrated marketing plans to support sales teams
