Experienced Ophthalmic Tech

Busy ophthalmology practice in Austin, Texas is seeking an experienced hardworking, friendly, and motivated ophthalmic technician.

Tasks include:

Obtaining ocular, medical, family history

Measuring visual acuity, motility, and pupil testing

Measuring intraocular pressure

Instilling ocular medications

Instructing patients regarding medications, tests, and procedures

Coordinate patient flow

Perform diagnostic testing such as OCT, FA, and ICG

Specific skills:

Multi-tasking

Using a multi-system phone line

Bilingual preferred but not required

Punctual

Organized

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Travel:

Travel is required (in and around the areas of Round Rock and Austin).
