THE COMPANY:

Batts AVL has been located in Denison, Texas for 20 years while steadily growing from 20 employees. Business is booming and we are looking to bring on 3 more qualified installers for full time work. We understand the value and importance of family and our employees with an open door policy with the office staff.

THE POSITION:

As an installer, you will not get bored with the work we do. Since we provide work in various ways, you will constantly be doing and learning new things. Most jobs are not local. However, we provide a company vehicle that a crew will ride in to and from the job site. Travel time is paid for up to 40 regular hours. OT is paid as time and half, travel time over 40 hours is not included.

While we are looking for experience in performance sound, lighting, and rigging systems. We are also willing to train the right individuals for this position. Applicants should be able to work closely with others, eager to learn on highly coordinated and technical projects. Safety is a key component we demand as the equipment we install is expensive and environment we work in is typically a construction type environment. Travel will be required for installers. We pay daily per diems on out of town trips. Travel is not a constant requirement, but is necessary multiple times a month, anywhere from 3 days to two weeks at a time. Typically, a travel trip is no more than 3-5 days. We understand family and home time is important so we try to spread out overnight travel among different crews. Also, when asking off for family events, we try our hardest to give you that time off.
