We are located in the beautiful town of Port Townsend, WA and have five (5) positions available:

- Full-time (40 hours/week), evening shift, 8-hour shifts. Days may vary.

- Full-time (40 hours/week), day shift, 8-hour shifts. Days may vary.

- 2 Temporary openings (estimated 40 hours/week until assignment ends), shift times and days may vary, 8-hour shifts.

- Per Diem (up to 16 hours/week), shift times and days may vary, 8-hour shifts.

EVS Tech II - GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for cleaning and servicing offices, patient rooms, file rooms, utility rooms, storage areas, baths, lavatories, lounges, as well as areas of: Labor and Delivery, Sterile Processing, Emergency, Radiology, Dietary, Laboratory, Rehab Services and Surgical Services.

EVS Tech II - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of floors and carpets

Cleans and polishes bathtubs, sinks and equipment

Cleans ceiling, walls, doors, and windowsills with mop or cloth and disinfectant solution

Polishes and cleans windows, mirrors and water fountains

Dusts furniture and cleans equipment. Arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion

Empties trash and disposes of cultures and sharps containers.

Replenishes supplies of soap, Purell, paper towels, toilet tissue, gloves, sharps boxes, supplies in bathroom, and can liners

Keeps utility storage rooms in order by cleaning equipment, arranging supplies, sweeping and mopping floors, bathroom, and can liners

Performs specialized cleaning procedures in birthing rooms, surgery rooms, and special procedures in birthing rooms, surgery rooms, and special procedure room

EVS Tech II - SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

Assists nursing personnel as requested

Other job duties as assigned by supervisor

EVS Tech II - EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred

1 year housekeeping experience preferred
