Full Time 40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30-4pm

We are currently seeking a Patient Services Receptionist in our Bellevue clinic. This position greets and registers all patients, collects insurance information and co-payments, and ensures a smooth patient flow through the reception area. You will work toward the common goal of providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors to the practice.General Duties include:Responsible for the daily coverage of reception area including answering incoming calls (when applicable), greeting patients, and ensuring a smooth flow of operation and customer satisfaction.Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors in person or on the telephone in a timely manner.Knowledgeable and proficient in scheduling for upcoming appointments.Check in patients, reviews demographic information and corrects if necessary. Ensure encounter forms are printed and contact appropriate department per established procedure.Obtains copies of insurance cards and enter into system.Review daily schedule and prepare for each patient.Oversees flow of waiting areas, monitoring patient wait time and communicates delays to patients.Responsible for answering or referring inquiries.Acts like a communication center by answering the phones and directing all phone messages to the appropriate individuals.Maintains a neat and clean reception area.Maintains brochure displays located in the waiting area assuring all brochures are filled and timely.Retrieves all messages from voice mail system daily and notify the appropriate staff.Maintains 5 Star Customer Service at all times.

An ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and 1 year of experience in a medical office setting.
