We have interviews locally in Sandpoint on Friday 10/23 at 1:30, 3:00 and 4:30.

Show up to our office 10 minutes early to fill out an application at 819 Highway 2, Suite 2 in Sandpoint. The office is located at Pioneer Square. You will enter through a set of doors between the Cutting Edge Salon, and the Pottery Bug store. It will be the first set of double glass doors in between the businesses. You will go up a set of stairs and enter into a waiting room, turn right into the hallway and you'll see Community Connections, Inc suite 220 is the first office on the left.

We work with adults with developmental disabilities in their own homes and in their job sites to help them become as independent as possible. This is an awesome opportunity for you to be proud of what you do, have a rewarding job, and give back to others. You will do thing such as:

1. Take them in the community to attend local activities and events.

2. Find recipes, plan meals, grocery shop, and help them cook meals.

3. Encourage them to take care of their home and their self-care.

4. Create a budget and follow it.

5. Maintain relationships with family members and friends.

6. Take them to appointments for support.

7. Model Socially acceptable behavior.

We have four shifts available:

Sleeping shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 6p-6a at $112/night working with two ladies in their home. They love watching movies, going on walks, doing puzzles, cooking and talking.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6a-6p and Wednesday 12-6p working in the same home with the ladies above. This shift pays $12/hour plus OT.

MWF 5:30a-5:30p , T/TH 5:30a-8:00a working with a high functioning gentlemen in his home and community. He enjoys jokes, playing games, talking about fun topics, sports and watching movies.-$12/hour plus OT.
