Job Description

We are searching for a Project Manager / Program Manager with Pharma experience to develop the global marketing and sales dashboard of the vaccines business of one of our top healthcare pharma companies. This PM will be responsible for:

1. Creating project plans and resource allocation for multi country deployments + manage the multiple program releases and budget management

  • Identify risks and issues and create mitigation plans
  • Act as a liaison with other workstreams, support wider global program management

2. Be a strong leader and manage vendor/management consulting teams that consist of:

  • Development Team (1 co-lead + 5 FTE)
  • Support Team (4 FTE)

3. Stakeholder management

  • Program manager will manage the vaccine business unit
  • Liaise with the client’s global leaders, and business units that are change managers across our client

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate and/or guide project work streams or large and complex transformation initiatives across different functions such as IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and R&D
  • Summarize and present findings to clients
  • Collaborate with engagement teams to provide high-quality work products
  • Apply strategic and critical thinking to develop recommendations that address client challenges
  • Manage team of resources to ensure deliverables are provided on time, on budget and within scope
  • Conduct research on various healthcare topics and be an activate participant in developing insight articles
  • Participate and/or guide business development and proposal efforts

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate and/or advanced degree from a top academic university (MBA or equivalent)
  • Advanced degree in medicine, biological/chemical sciences, engineering is a plus
  • Ability to travel every week if necessary; up to 4 days per week
  • 8 + years of management consulting experience working for pharmaceutical, biotech or medical products clients
  • Proven knowledge of the life sciences industry’s trends, strategy and operating models, and depth in a specific area like Innovation, R&D, Supply chain, Commercial, Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Technology is preferred
  • Ability to manage client relationships and networks, present to senior audiences, and work day-to-day with senior and mid-level clients
  • Ability to multi-task competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and/or experience
  • Lead internal corporate initiatives
