QA Lead

Job Description

• Lead and mentor QA Team
• Work with different department to build QA process.
• Set up weekly meeting with stack holder to review outstanding issues
• Review and analyze system and business specifications
• Collaborate with QA and Development team to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
• Evaluate product code according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues and escalate as required
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Willing to work occasional weekends and extra hours.

Qualifications

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 5 years of proven experience as a lead Quality Assurance or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Experience leading on site and remote team.
• Willing to work long/extra hours as needed
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr) and SQL
• Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills

• Experience working with web browser automation tools such as Selenium
• Experience working with different data formats (e.g., HL7, XML, CSV, etc.)
• Experience working with different EMR vendors and/or Labs on connectivity projects
