Job Description

This is a full-time, computer-professional exempt position. An analyst in this position will be responsible for the successful implementation of our CareEvolve Portal. Successful implementation includes setting up the portal, identifying custom requirements, testing, troubleshooting, driving the overall implementation as well as managing relationships with Lab and LIS resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful implementation of the CareEvolve application throughout the entire project life cycle, including Discovery, Development, Implementation, and Validation
  • Develop project schedules including scope of work, duration of tasks, and order of execution for customer implementations
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all project communication, both oral and written
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients
  • Communicate to all key stakeholders on progress in a timely manner throughout the entire project life cycle
  • Define and convey different customer workflows to developers to better accommodate their needs and allow for the successful integration of the portal
  • Fully document customer workflows and interface requirements
  • Provide application training as required for each new client
  • Provide support as necessary for existing implementations
  • Set and manage appropriate expectations
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Maintain understanding of competitive landscape of portal offerings and unique interface requirements of each
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory agencies, state and federal mandates (HIPAA), and medical necessity

Qualifications

  • Experience with LIS, Electronic Medical/Health Record (EMR or EHR) Systems interfacing strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of standard healthcare electronic message formats (e.g., HL7, XML, CSV, etc.)
  • Knowledge of basic networking and different connectivity solutions (e.g., VPN, SFTP, TCP-IP, etc.)
  • Experience and knowledge of clinical laboratory processes, environments, and workflows
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated organization and planning abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Ability to exercise effective decision-making in a fast-paced environment

Education/Training/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
  • Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics or equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and training is preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook,Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience required
  • Strong project management experience and knowledge of project management methodologies

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position at our HQlocated in Elmwood Park, NJ. Remote work is not available.
