Senior Software Engineeropportunity, your code will connect millions of Americans to vital information they need across hundreds of webpages onwww.state.gov. You will do this by leveraging your passion for developing strong, functional, and efficient code across legacy and modern platforms, and will work as part of a highly talented Agile team within SAFe, to define architecture, design, build, and implement solutions while supporting the development of public-facing web or mobile applications. Your technical knowledge, analysis, and troubleshooting skills of database applications and their production environments will tie together enterprise wide systems across the country.

Qualifications

Experience Needed to Be Successful:

  • Strong Agile, SDLC, and DevSecOps process experience
  • At least 5 years hands-on experience with most of the desired technologies, tools, and platforms below:
    • Framework(s): ASP.NET, .Net 4
    • Language(s): C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, XML
    • Front-end Development: Bootstrap, AngularJS, MVC, AJAX, Web Services, Kendo
    • Database(s): Oracle 11g, PL/SQL, Toad
    • Platform/Tools: Visual Studio, IIS, Windows Server, HTTPS, DevSecOps tools
