job responsibilities

-answer phone for take out orders and reservations

-communicating with chef for take out ticket times and size of orders

must understand menu items, and understand how to schedule reservations for restaurant capacity and dining timing.

-handling cash/card transactions for to go orders

-seating guests/possible relaying first drink order to bartender/servers

-setting tables

-assisting with bussing tables

-clean menus, ensure for lunch service bento box is the first page and for dinner appetizers shows first

-fold napkins and prepare for table service

wipe all tables and chairs once guests leave

set table for service

set up sanitation station

-ensure all signage is visible

- if needed fill hand sanitizer bottles

assist servers/bartenders/kitchen staff in stocking to go items(soy sauce, ginger, wasabi, bags, napkins, chopsticks, boxes, etc) should they need assistance
