Personal Assistant, Right Hand, go-for call it what you feel right… simple fun easy job 10 hour days side by side with business owner, serve as frontal lobes, organizer, take over the endless mental chatter of planning and executing expanding business venture.

Hiring: One or two people to join our team (of several others) for two month interview. Must be physically fit, outdoorsy, cool with doing what is needed and asked. (see next paragraph) Offering a shared two bedroom apartment lodging in Homer. After which, the employment continuance will be based on desire to continue. Job could easily become full time after the two months.

Description: Take notes, make follow up calls, check on job progress, maybe painting and remodeling hotel/studio rooms or public laundry, then shopping, making coffee or sandwiches for lunch.… or helping with internet research or paper work. Endless variety of experiences within the context of an expanding business and keeping the owners focus on task and deflecting distractions. Third year charter fishing, lodging, adding more adventures for this next season - Jet Ski tours and fishing, Veteran therapeutic family resiliency program and more.

Compensation: Offering $1,200 to $1,400 per week in employee salary (yes on the books and taxed) and the hours can range from 10 to 12 hours per day “most” everyday till the end of the year. Yes, there will be days where we work less or not at all. Especially during the holidays. And, there will be days where we need to go gold dredging and camping and or go fishing for the day as part of the planning and designing adventures for guests next summer. You do the math it might work out to be $15 to $18 per hour but… The important thing to know is that while business owner is very good at taking care of others this gig is all about helping him succeed.
