RN/LPN Saturday Night Shift Part Time

Job Description

Currently looking for 1-2 nurses to work part time to cover our Saturday night shift, 7pm-7am.

JOB SUMMARY:

The RN/LPN responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Medical clinical management is conducted in collaboration with the Medical Director.

JOB DUTIES & SPECIFICATIONS:

· Administering mediation, treatments, inoculations and tests as allowed by law

· Pre-screening of new patients for appropriateness of admission, including physical data assessment and health history

· Communicating with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and pharmacists

· Implementing verbal orders from providers

· Emphasize preventative care and disease management

· Administer and interpret urinalysis tests and results

· Completes intake health screenings and pain assessments as directed

· Charts appropriately and as required within the EHR

· Respond to duties in a clinically appropriate and timely manner

· Maintains a safe and sanitary environment

· Attends staff meetings

· Implements emergency procedure during drills and/or actual emergency situations

· Compassionately interacts with patients to encourage treatment compliance and adherence

· Effectively communicates with other personnel

· Other tasks within scope of RN or LPN as assigned or required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
