The Santa Maria Times is looking for a customer service professional to join their team on a part-time basis. This position works with subscribers and employees to solve service related issues over the phone and in person.
Job responsibilities:
Answer phones/in person inquiries
Input subscriber data into customer database
Coordinate newspaper redelivery with customers
Assist office manager, distribution manager, and assistants on service resolution
Candidate must have:
Customer focused mindset and able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Excellent communication skills
Accurate data entry skills and ability to use a PC
High school diploma or GED required
This is a part-time position, M-F, average 30 hours a week
