Line Cooks - Urban Egg University Village

The award-winning URBAN EGG at University Village Shopping Center is accepting applications for experienced Line Cooks for a part-time position with full-time possibility. We are asking that you have a minimum of (1) year experience in a professional culinary kitchen and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities/Qualifications

Weekend availability.

Food preparation and execution for busy restaurant. Must have strong experience in high volume/fast-paced kitchen (minimum of (1) year experience).

Participates with a diverse group of line cooks and prep staff.

Follows recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by RMRG Standards.

Maintains a sanitary environment in the BOH.

Has understanding and knowledge of how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the kitchen.

Responsible for ensuring that the cleaning, sanitation and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and all storage areas are kept in compliance with RMRG standards.

Adheres to proper storage and hierarchy of food.
