Hiring Day Program Providers- Support Individuals with Special Needs

Spectrum has been in business for over 40 years providing services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We currently have offices in Denver, Pueblo and Fort Collins. The Fort Collins office serves all of Northern Colorado including: Larimer, Weld, and Boulder counties. We are looking for providers to support our Clients in our Day Program!

Day Program is open Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm. This service is for adults only, anyone over 18. Our clients in Day Program spend 3 hours in the program at the base site doing activities and 3 hours in the community. The Day Program is located in Fort Collins. Clients make friends and keep busy!

Duties and responsibilities of a Day Provider include:

-Companionship and protective oversight

-Helping clients meet formal and informal goals

-Keeping clients engaged in various activities throughout the day

-Ensure client health and safety

-Assistance with toileting as needed

-Assistance with accessing the community

-Documentation of daily activities, progress, and behaviors

Job Requirements:

-CNA license is a plus

-Experience working as a care giver is preferred (However, if no experience, we value enthusiasm to learn!)

-Positive attitude and strong work ethic

-Strong interpersonal skills

-Reliable and responsible to attend shifts

-Working vehicle and proof of auto insurance

-Ability to pass criminal background check

-High School Diploma or equivalent GED
