PCA and/or Companion Wanted

Town of Fairfield, Connecticut

(Full OR Part Time): LONG TERM

Active adult male w/paralysis seeking the right caregiver(s) to assist in a complete home care plan and "long term" needs. Training provided.

Application w/tax forms provided.

(Be ambitious, easy-going and reliable; willing to learn @spinal injury and follow care plan).

Morning shift: @8am-/4pm or later. (3-5 days/wk. some Weekends)

Afternoon/Evening shift: approx. 4pm to 9pm/later. Flexibility appreciated.

Possible overnights.

GENERAL DUTIES

Be physically capable in all duties. (simple manual pivot transfers from bed-to-bath and back).

Assist w/bathing(showers), complete bath routine.

Bladder care.

Dressing/undressing, Light wound care, meal prep, shopping.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation important. Live close to Fairfield as possible (within 20 min).

Current wage $16.25/hr. Allied Comm Resources payroll service provides check/direct deposit.
