General Description The Equities Investment Strategy Intern will be responsible for providing research, analysis and quantitative modeling to support Parametric’s existing investment strategies and contribute to new product development.

Primary Responsibilities Assist with research into select investment topics of interest, culminating in presentation to peers and investment leaders.

Construct and manipulate large data sets in order to perform quantitative analysis. Other responsibilities as assigned. Job Requirements Current progressing towards a Master’s degree with a concentration in finance, economics, statistics, business, or a related field Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with large data sets Understanding of basic data modeling language (MatLab, R, Python with NumPy, SciPy, Pandas packages, C#), or any other statistical tools that allow for quantitative modeling and analysis helpful but not required The ability to work on a team and to work autonomously on projects (involving others as needed) Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in investment and financial markets Parametric is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a work environment that is free of discrimination and harassment.
