Job Description

This is for a 6-month full-time co-op from January to June 2021.

This role is for an intern within the Business Performance Management (BPM) team within the overall Performance Operational Capabilities (POC) organization. POC enables innovative approaches and efficient execution of the clinical development pipeline for global clinical operations (GCO) and/or other organizations within Biogen that impact GCO.

When viewed as a lifecycle, business performance management touches upon distinct yet interconnected areas including systems, analytics, resource & demand management, process improvement & innovation, training & process adherence, and clinical trial technology. Given the inherent interconnectedness of these areas, the majority of BPM projects have elements of each within their objectives.

Based on current business needs, the intern will focus heavily on supporting ongoing projects in process improvement and optimization efforts specifically in the space of early planning including protocol development, country/site feasibility, and site activation. More specifically there is an opportunity for the intern to connect disparate datasets in a meaningful analysis to support ongoing efforts in cost accountability in protocol design planning.
