University Animal Clinic has an exciting opportunity for a team member to support our reception and technician staff in sunny Sarasota/Bradenton Florida. We are located in Cooper Creek shopping center, which is directly across from the Mall at University Town Center. We are a full service medical hospital. We are looking for a full time receptionist/ veterinary technician to join our amazing team of dedicated professionals. Our ideal candidate would have an outgoing personality, a passion for caring for pets, educating pet parents and as importantly, working harmoniously in a team environment. Our staff is expected to provide outstanding customer service to our clients and a loving environment for their pets to receive care.

Required Qualifications:

Friendly and engaging with a passion for pets

Exceptional understanding of veterinary medical terminology

Self-motivated

Impeccable work ethic

Desired Qualifications for Receptionist/Technician:

Veterinary Experience Preferred, 2-3 years for Technician, 2 years Reception

Friendly, engaging people with a passion for pets

Proper animal restraint for venipuncture, vaccinations and other procedures

Enjoys sharing current veterinary knowledge and possess a willingness to increase knowledge base
