POSITION TITLE: Contact Center – Outbound Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT: Contact Center HALE GROVES

REPORTS TO: Contact Center Supervisor

Summary/Objective

Outbound sales representatives contact prospects and customers to sell products and services. They work in the contact center making cold calls to leads and generating sales and revenue. Outbound sales representatives are responsible for meeting daily, weekly, monthly, or annual key performance indicators (KPIs).

Essential Functions

Convert leads into sales

Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of Indrio brands, gifts, Customer Service applications, business processes, policies & procedures

Ability to enter data accurately and timely

Ability to communicate effectively with a professional and pleasant verbal and written tone; ability to handle and maintain high call volume

Excellent interpersonal skills

Day to Day Activities

Manage an individual book of business including initial call and follow up calls

Promote and sell all products and services

Create, maintain, and update database of customers with complete information

Function as an effective team member

Assist the in-bound department if necessary

Ability to research and resolve customer concerns with one- call resolution

Qualifications, Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED is preferred

Minimum of four (4) years of customer service experience and outbound call experience required

Excellent keyboarding/typing skills; minimum of 25 WPM

Bilingual a plus

Proficient with Microsoft Office and Customer Service applications

Good listening skills

Good working knowledge of a PC, telephone, email, internet

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proven commitment to delivering exceptional and personalized customer service

Strong problem-solving skills

Self-motivated, responsible, dependable, and prompt individual with excellent attendance

Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multi-task

Ability to respond to a variety of customer inquiries is essential
