We have immediate openings for Superintendent/Lead roles for our locations in Warner Robins!

Qualified candidates MUST have electrical experience actually using his/her tools and willing to travel. The Superintendent/Lead Person will  supervise others and will join in to get the work done.

JOB DUTIES:

Schedule, coordinate, and supervise field employees assigned to a particular electrical construction or service discipline work area.  

Supervision/Leadership: 

▪ Effectively use all resources and lead/oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility.

▪ Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.  Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement correction actions as required. Conduct accident investigations as needed.

▪ Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc.

▪ Motivate others to achieve objectives. Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, etc.):

▪ Effectively plan and organize the work for which you are responsible.

▪ Keep daily job journal detailing actual events.

▪ Plan ahead for materials, tools, and information.

▪ Understand project plan and estimate, and the relationship between them.  

▪ Efficiently order, track, and manage jobsite materials.  

▪ Understand labor rates, labor dollars, and man hours.

▪ Develop and maintain relationships with customers; ensure high quality service is provided to guarantee repeat sales and favorable recommendations. Take prompt action to resolve any customer complaints.

▪ Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.

▪ Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others, and bringing it to their attention.

▪ Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company.  Support goal of achieving zero accidents.

▪ Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.

▪ Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

▪ High school diploma/equivalent required; technical degree preferred.  Equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience can substitute.

▪ Minimum of 5-7 years of electrical service or construction or a similar experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.

▪ Valid driver’s license and insured personal transportation also required.

▪ Overtime and/or long hours may be required.

▪ Travel to various construction sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise, and the need to stand and walk.
