Nursery Crew Manager (Kaneohe-Haiku)

Hui Ku Maoli Ola is an organization dedicated to the perpetuation and preservation of Hawaii's natural history and culture. By integrating education, the propagation of native Hawaiian plants, and through quality restoration and landscaping services, we are making improvements to and increasing public appreciation for the unique natural environment and cultural history of our precious island home.

We are currently looking for a nursery crew manager in full time to join our team.

Requirements for the job are as follows:

- Valid Hawai'i state drivers licenses (clean driving abstract)

- Able to lift 80lbs

- Able to be on your feet for 5+ hours per day

Desirable skills for the job are as follows:

- Previous management experience (being able to manage a crew of 10+ coworkers)

- Leadership

- Communication skills

- Plant nursery experience including Native Hawaiian plant knowledge

The Nursery Manager performs the following Nursery duties:

- Create daily and weekly task lists for laborers.

- Check and ensure that orders are filled on time.

- Ongoing development of SOP’s, systems and Forms.

- Evaluating, Coaching and Training New and existing Employees.

- Invoicing and emailing customers.

- Track all plants that leave the nursery.

- Answer phone.

- Review and update propagation sheet on an ongoing basis.

We are open Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
