POSITION SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must incorporate the following job functions.

Collaborate with installation planners on the appropriate methods, timelines and executions for each unique system installation.

Insure each installation’s electrical scope complies with OSHA Safety, National Electric Codes and other company requirements including customer expectations and construction efficiencies.

Provide installation team leadership in the areas of safety, quality and time/cost efficiency and best practices.

Interface with customers, collaborate with project managers, co-workers, vendors and subcontractors as necessary.

Climb ladders, install and/or utilize fall restraint and other OSHA Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Operate equipment such as Man-Lifts, Scissor-Lifts, etc.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements;

Candidate MUST CURRENTLY RESIDE IN (or) BE RETURNING TO RESIDE IN the State of Hawaii.
 NOTE: We are not currently considering candidates that wish to re-locate from another State.Currently Hold a Hawaii State Journeyman Electrical License (or) have a Hawaii State Journeyman Electrical License Pending.

Have a professional understanding of National Electric Codes and electrical best practices.

Have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

Submit to our standard pre-employment drug screening.

Beneficial but NOT MANDATORY: NABCEP Certification, Renewable Energy Solar and/or Battery Storage handing and installation experience. Electronics and/or networking equipment installation, commissioning, testing experience. Electrical or electronics testing and troubleshooting experience.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

High School or Associates Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Hawaii State Journeyman Electrical License (Active or Pending)

COMPUTER SKILLS

Mid-level experience using a tablet and personal computer.

Mid-level experience using electrical testing equipment including voltage, current, resistance, ground faults, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Safely driving company vehicles, climbing ladders, operating tools and heavy equipment, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate small tools, tablet, laptop, testing equipment, etc.

May require rare overnight stays on neighbor islands from time to time.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS May be required to assist other staff members as needed.
