Pipefitter/Millwright

WATER CONTROLS and PUMP SYSTEMS is seeking a Qualified Pipefitter/Millwright to help us both support existing projects and develop new customers ON THE ISLAND OF MAUI.

Water Controls and Pump Systems is a Contractor that specializes in water distribution: piping for water systems, installation of pumps controls and equipment, piping work, equipment installation, blowers for water and wastewater, piping installation, testing and other associated equipment throughout the State of Hawaii.

Occasionally pouring and forming concrete pads.

Water Controls & Pump Systems was established in 2006, and has grown into an industry sales, service, and repair leader.

Water Controls has customers throughout the State of Hawaii.

The position does require some travel, and occasional overnight stays, on other islands.

Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

5+ years Mechanical/Pipefitting/Millwright experience in piping for water systems including forming concrete paths, installation of pumps controls and equipment, piping work, equipment installation, blowers for water and wastewater, piping installation &testing

Proven skills must include decision making, critical thinking, and multi-tasking

Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain strong Customer Relationships

Ability to read and troubleshoot using mechanical / electrical drawings and schematics
