Animal Clinic of Honolulu is seeking individuals for Receptionist, Animal care attendant, Veterinary assistant, and Licensed Veterinary technician. We are a busy, progressive full service veterinary hospital located in Kaimuki. As a receptionist you will be responsible for facilitating a positive and engaging environment for clients, patients and staff. You must be able to demonstrate professionalism when scheduling appointments, addressing client concerns and articulating medical advice. As the first and last person each client sees during their visit, your position is vital to the satisfaction of the clients.

As an animal care attendant you will be responsible for the health and well being of all boarding dogs and cats. We have extensive boarding facilities and need a motivated individual for this position. This position provides a large amount of hands on time with the boarding animals. Although you work mostly behind the scenes, there is a fair amount of client communication at drop off and pick up. You may also be asked to assist the Doctors, technicians, and veterinary assistants with their duties.

The veterinary assistants and licensed Veterinary Technicians are the direct link between the client, patient and doctor. You will be responsible for facilitating a positive experience for both the client and patient once they have been checked in. Duties include but are not limited to: taking history, outlining vaccine schedules, running routine labwork, drawing blood, placing intravenous catheters, taking x-rays, monitoring anesthesia, performing dental prophylaxis and treating hospitalized patients. In this position your ability to advance within the practice is only limited by your ambition. Previous technician or assistant experience a plus but not required. Licensed veterinary technicians strongly encouraged to apply.
