Beloit Bakery looking for an Experienced Production Baker

Hours are 4:00 am-12:00 pm Monday-Friday
(Holidays and graduation season are required)
Responsibilities
Scaling, mixing, dough development, proofing, baking
High level of attention to detail
Quick learner and self starter
Bakery clean up after production runs
Collaborate with other members of the bakery team to complete the tasks necessary to meet the needs of daily production while maintaining our high standard of quality
Provide courteous, friendly and efficient teamwork skills as you rely, assist and work with fellow coworkers
Follow safe food handling and personal hygiene Health Department regulations
Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and organization as outlined by your manager and the position
Operate all equipment in a safe and proper manner and adhere to safe work practices
Performs other duties as assigned by the Bakery Manager
Qualifications
2+ years experience in production baking of breads, dough, donuts or similar products
Firm understanding of systems of measurement
Must be a morning person
Ability to work quickly, efficiently and under pressure
Good interpersonal skills. Positive, enthusiastic, self motivated
Ability to communicate verbally effectively with coworkers and owners
Strong organizational skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from management
Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the bakery
Report to work as scheduled and fulfill requirements for duration of shift
Ability to operate all equipment in a safe and proper manner and adhere to safe work practices
Driver's License
Ability to read and comprehend recipes, ingredient labels, simple instructions and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Physical Qualifications
Bend and lift loads up to 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 75 pounds
Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors)
Stand for extended periods of time/ Good physical stamina and energy
Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling
Bend and stoop to grasp objects. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat
