Field Mechanic - $25+ per hour PLUS Annual Bonus

Mechanic

Wage range $25+ per hour (depending on experience and training with potential for Over-Time.)

TRAVEL REQUIRED (including overnight travel)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Diagnoses, rebuild and repair vehicles and heavy equipment

Performs inspections and preventive maintenance

Prepares and maintains records and reports

Set-up new equipment and vehicles

Safely drive various vehicles and/or transport equipment

Conduct all work with established safety procedure

Perform additional duties as assigned

JOB CRITERIA

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Three years of experience and/or training in maintenance and repair of trucks and/or heavy equipment o Power and hand tools, use of diagnostic equipment and experience with operation of vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes. o Considerable knowledge of tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance. o Familiar with mechanical design and fabrication. o Experience with electrical systems o Hydraulic experience is preferred.

Must have a class A CDL and DOT medical card

Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must have own tools

Ability to life 50 lbs on regular basis

Must have safe driving record and a valid driver’s license according to legal requirements.

Drug screen & background check required.
