Make Ready Maintenance Technician Job Description:

Promotes the community and the rental of apartments using a thorough and accurate preparation of vacant apartments for new residents.

The Redecoration person performs any pre-maintenance required to bring the apartment to a presentable level so that the work of our painting and cleaning contractors can proceed quickly.

This individual is also responsible for touch-ups needed to make the apartment ready for occupancy.

Through a willingness to work as a team member, the Redecoration person assists the Manager as needed, as well as residents, in a polite and professional manner.

Redecoration Maintenance Job Requirements

Due to the nature of our business and the resulting organizational structure, it is essential that all employees be willing and able to perform functions in a number of different areas.

Must have a valid driver's license

Reliable transportation

Able to communicate effectively and correctly

General maintenance knowledge

Must be available to work evenings and weekends

Basic skills in carpentry, drywall, plumbing, and electricity

Work independently

Must have own personal tools and know how to use in combination with company provided tools

Ability to meet physical requirements

Able to read and follow instructions, warnings, procedures, etc.
