Firmware Engineer

The Firmware Engineer will work hand in hand with one other firmware engineer on adding features to a new product.Develop and refine engineering requirements based on marketing and user needsImplement the design of new firmware applications and librariesPeer-review software designs and source codeEstablish and execute test procedures for software applications and subsystemsEnsure on-time delivery of firmware that meets all requirementsIt's dynamic, it's fast paced. The contractor will have clearly defined tasks and we would like to try to isolate them so they can just work.The Firmware Engineer will ideally be able to write C code from scratch, as well as modify existing code, and then be able to test and validate that code, thinking "How can I break this code?"Most of the microcontrollers are ARM based.This job involves mostly programming C from scratch and a little bit of circuit design.There will be some graphics; buttons, menus, things like that. It will interface with other user interface things like buttons, knobs, switches and things like that however the candidate isn't responsible for the full LCD screen.
