Live-in Care Provider

Pathlight Residential Supports is currently looking for a competent Care Provider to care for one of our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. This is a wonderful opportunity for a responsible individual to move into a centrally located home in the Springfield area with an individual who would benefit greatly from support and advocacy in his daily life. He enjoys drawing and art, going into the community for coffee, eating out at local restaurants and going for walks in the community. He thrives in a stable and orderly environment in which he feels connected to his support network

Essential Functions:

As a care provider you would be an independent contractor who would live with and be responsible for the care and support of an individual with developmental disabilities 365 days per year with built in respite time. You would help that individual by arranging routine and non-routine medical care and transportation to medical appointments. You would participate in all ISP Team Meetings and have essential input into the individual’s interdisciplinary support team.

As a care provider you would be expected to maintain a clean, safe and secure home environment for this individual. Experience in the developmental disabilities field is preferred. In exchange for your support, you will receive a generous stipend, case management assistance and other supports.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 18 years of age.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation.

Experience preferred.
