EN Engineering (www.enengineering.com) is an 1,800+ associate firm with 34+ offices including office in Detroit. Our strong growth, especially in our Geographic Information System Mapping (GIS) practice has created multiple entry level opportunities with no prior educational or work experience or qualifications needed.

Prior experience with GIS software and or CADD software a huge plus but not required.

This position is responsible for updating and enhancing customer Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This includes entering new data in existing GIS programs and modifying existing data such as land base information and customer facilities. This position works under immediate supervision and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the work.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Entering new data in customer GIS programs

Modifying existing data in customer GIS programs

Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary

Required Qualifications:

No qualifications necessary - we will train!

Preferred skills:

Working knowledge of basic software programs

Prior experience utilizing GIS software in the utility or pipeline industry preferred

Knowledge of CADD is a plus

Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment
