Responsibilities:

Provide direct client care 1:1 in the clients’ home

Provide support and services to individuals with varying SPECTRUMS of autism, anxiety, ADHD, psychotic diagnosis etc.

Crisis intervention

Use redirection when a child is in a crisis, offering support and stability to the child and the family.

Assist with social skills, anger management, daily living skills [feeding, diapering, and linking to resources].

Know how to respond to negative behaviors appropriately

Be able to handle crisis situations; including aggressive behaviors, de-escalates using non-restrictive techniques.

Requirements:

Prior experience and or training working with youth and/or adults with mental health needs

Empathetic individual who is trauma aware.

Experience managing challenging behaviors, including aggression.

Must have strong interpersonal skills

Adhere to confidentiality, ethical, and professional standards.

CPR certified

Valid WI driver license with an acceptable motor vehicle record is required.
