Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable off the shelf application or custom built technology solutions to meet business needs. Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers. Design, build, test and maintain scalable and stable custom built technology solutions to meet business needs. Interact with team members to determine best solutions Interact with product owners and end-users to understand business needs. Collaborate with front-end developers and other members of the team to improve application usability/performance. Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers Write functional requirement and design documents and guides Help other back-end and front-end developers with coding and troubleshooting Follow high quality software development practices and standards. Attending daily stand-up meeting, attend sprint planning and review Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Strong working knowledge of JAVA, Spring Boot, JSP, PL/SQL, UNIX shell scripting, etc.
- Strong experience working in TDD environment (Junit / TestNG)
- Experience with web-services, messaging, micro-services.
- Experience with back-end frameworks to build server-side software.
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server.
- Experience with web services, messaging, and stored procedures.
- Experience with SOAP / REST
