Quest Solutions, Inc is seeking a talented

Project Manager to plan, organize, lead and control technology-based projects that are moderately complex and/or medium to large in scope, budget and/or revenue. This will be a contract to hire role in Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Des Moines, IA, or Fort Worth, TX.

Overview:
  • This project manager will be implementing "Contactless" card products for our clients.
  • This is not an IT Project Manager, but rather someone who works heavily with clients to plan out CO-OP product implementations.
  • Experience with Contactless Pay type technologies is a plus, but not required
  • Experience in the Fintech industry is highly desired
  • The PM will work from established project management templates, but may be required to make modifications to the project plan templates based on the client's customization needs.
  • Looking for someone who can work in the "gray" areas and isn't always black and white in their view points.
  • Excellent customers service and client communication skills are a must for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads and manages the project lifecycle to deliver multiple projects initiatives.
  • Determines the project scope and develops project plans for Catalog, Configurable and Custom projects.
  • Builds and manages the project plan to implement internal initiatives, major and minor system enhancements, industry and regulatory requirements, existing client project, new client conversions, and de-conversions.
  • Delivers effective, accurate, and consistent communication to project teams, management, external clients and vendors.
  • Leads project resources through the work break down process to establish tasks that need to be performed across the organization.
  • Understand interdependencies and lead time to put together a comprehensive schedule.
  • Delivers effective, accurate, and consistent communication to project teams, management, external clients and vendors.
  • Collaborates with team to development of project plans and budgets.
  • Partners with technology leaders to identify project resources and develop schedules.
  • Assembles project team members; assigns individual responsibilities; leads team meetings.
  • Oversees completion of project tasks, manages conflicts within group and escalates risks/issues as needed.
  • Coordinates technical professionals and other staff across other functions and disciplines.
  • Applies generally accepted project management methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintains project documentation; ensures project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
  • Prepares and disseminates project reports and communications; communicates with technology team, project sponsors, functional area managers and/or consultants regarding status of specific tasks.
  • Reacts to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field plus four to five years project management experience, or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • Experience with an ALM tool, such as Microsoft Azure, JIRA or VersionOne.
  • Experience with an Enterprise Project Management tool, such as Planview PPM Pro, Clarity, etc.
  • Working knowledge of standard software packages, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project.
  • Working knowledge of agile and waterfall SDLC’s.
  • Basic knowledge of financial services industry and technology.
  • Understanding of Debit, Credit, Payment and other financial industry products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills and the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems, driving solutions to completion.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, while meeting demanding deadlines.
  • Understanding of and support for generally accepted project management standards and methodology.
  • Ability to work with individuals of all levels and varying technical skills.
  • Team player.
