- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science
- Four (4) years of documented experience with relational database technologies
- Minimum of 6 years of experience developing, maintaining and administering both Oracle and MS SQL Server databases
- Certification on Oracle Database (MySQL, Oracle database 12c, 11g)
- Minimum of two years administering database platform specific advanced features (e.g. clustering, encryption, logical/physical standby, ETL, replication)
- Demonstrated proficiency with SQL server profiler for monitoring and troubleshooting database activity and performance
- Experience with Data Modeling Tools as well as creating and maintaining data models
- Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement and related security requirements governing the connection with and access to criminal justice information
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Microsoft Windows and Office application proficiency
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and written/verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated change management proficiency
- Intermediate knowledge in hardware and networking
