Position Overview Technology Specialist - .Net/C# responsibilities include designing, developing, testing and supporting Lowry web application products installed at large scale, highly complex and proprietary clients environment. The Technology Specialist will work in a high-paced team environment supporting ongoing projects and existing products/applications. Candidate must also have experience developing Web applications as well developing in Mobile development platforms for rugged handheld devices, smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices. Domain-knowledge and field expertise in automotive, manufacturing and logistics is essential to communicate and work with stakeholders and end-users

Position Requirements
  • Collaborates with customers and project team to transform business requirements into functioning software
  • Works with project team including architect, infrastructure, security, and other corporate teams to provide end to end solution and support plan.
  • Evaluates customers requirements and enhancements requests, follow our change management process and proposes solutions with careful consideration of cost, impact, standards, and compatibility to with other systems
  • Assists in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates, testing strategies, and work plans
  • Applies advanced level understanding of current and future technology architecture and integrates this knowledge into design, problem solving, planning, and strategic technical roadmaps
  • Works with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into the company s products.
  • Works with various programming and product groups to ensure that required features and modifications are included in the appropriate releases to support cross-product features.
  • Prepares technical documentation in accordance with company s procedures for software products /components/solutions.
  • Experience integrating off the shelf solutions and custom development projects
  • Full stack web application development including back-end development to User Interface Enhancements.
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Experience with modern development trends and able to act as a mentor to other developers
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as VSTS / Azure DevOps, TFS and Git
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and DevOps, DevSecOps, DataOps etc.
  • Experience writing clean, readable code
  • Native Android/iOS/cross platform Development

Technical Qualification
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience with custom data driven web application development using C#, .Net framework, JavaScript, Bootstrap, CSS, HTML5 and other languages or frameworks
  • 5+ years of experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • 5+ years of experience using T-SQL with an ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Working experience with version control tools, such as VSTS / Azure DevOps, TFS and Git
  • Working experience deploying on Azure and cloud technologies like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc.
  • Full life-cycle development in an enterprise development environment
  • Strong experience implementing SOAP or REST services
  • Ability to extract, transform, and load data from many sources and file types
  • Experience in mobile app development
  • Object oriented design skills
  • Visual Studio 2017/ Visual Studio 2019

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong service orientation
  • Must be able to work directly with end users and business partners
  • Functional knowledge of full project development lifecycle and ability to validate that software performs to established guidelines
  • Ability to develop requirements for applications based on user input and needs
  • Ability to work independently while remaining a strong and collaborative team member
  • Desirable: Passed at least one of the following Microsoft assessments / Microsoft exams
    • Technical Assessment for Cloud Platform
    • Technical Assessment for Remote Desktop Services on Azure
    • Technical Assessment for Using Azure for Data Analytics and Data Platform Solutions
    • Technical Assessment for Using Microsoft Azure for Application Development
    • Technical Assessment for Using Azure for Internet of Things Solutions
    • Exam 70-532: Developing Microsoft Azure Solutions
    • Exam 70-533: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
    • Exam 70-535: Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions
    • Exam 70-473: Designing and Implementing Cloud Data Platform Solutions
    • Exam 70-475: Designing and Implementing Big Data Analytics Solutions
    • MCSA: Linux on Azure
