Job Description:Role: ServiceNow Developer Job Level: Intermediate/Senior Type: 3+ month Fixed Contract Reporting to: Head of Global Project Services Location: Richardson, Dallas, TX Purpose of Position: The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for working to develop, design and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The Service Now Developer will provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions to the client utilizing the ServiceNow platform. Duties and Responsibilities: Successfully plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation of all aspects of the ServiceNow platform. Provide software coding and customization including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development. Coordinate and solve complex technical data and transformation issues. Obtain and analyze/interpret business requirements to purpose sustainable solutions in ServiceNow. Answer “how to” technical and application configuration questions. Develop, maintain, and execute reports to ensure system operation meets performance targets. Create and maintain system design and operations documentation. Complete other duties as assigned. Job Description – SERVICENOW DEVELOPER Technical Skills & Experience: Ability to consume customer requirements quickly. Ability to demo solution to end customers providing technical feedback to questions. Ability to package/deliver Service Now solutions for customer review. Additional competencies required: Keen problem solving ability Motivated, self-starter Fast learner Excellent communication skills Comfort in customer facing situations Minimum qualifications: A degree in Computer Science or equivalent Computer related degree is preferred. ServiceNow Developer Certification is required. At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in ServiceNow development. Basic knowledge of Rest API interaction.
