Our insurance client is looking for an ETL developer. There are two positions open; Mid-level to intermediate ETL developer and a Sr ETL Developer. The Senior ETL Developer must have a healthcare background. They are both full-time roles- No C2C for this, please! Remote until April 2021 and then on-site in Springfield MA.

SUMMARY: Developer is responsible for the analysis, design, development, documentation, and maintenance of new and existing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) interfaces, extracts, and Data Warehouse load processes for the client. More specifically, the ETL develops and administers ETL processes in support of the Data warehouse and regulatory interfaces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Designs, develop, and execute data extracts and imports from various internal and external data sources
  • Creates, modify and optimize stored procedures and reporting queries to manipulate or retrieve data from various databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) to support customer-definedrequirements
  • Performs analysis of unstructured data for opportunities to improve data quality and data structure
  • Works with Business Intelligence (“BI”) toolsets to develop reports and dashboards
  • Develops and automate ETL processes to gather or provide data to and from different sources respectively
  • Works closely with Application Development, IT Operations, and Data Management teams
  • Determines appropriate source and targets of data to support business applications and reports
  • Develops and administers data quality applications and processes
  • Utilizes BI toolsets for report and dashboard development

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with data transformation and data integration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in implementing ETL processes
  • Experience using Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Integration Services (SSIS) or higher
  • SQL development experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visio, and other current PC productivity solutions
  • Able to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and electronic modes
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly evolving healthcare industry
