As an Associate Technical Support Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Dispensing operations. The primary application supported is APS (Automated Pharmacy Service) which is scheduled to be replaced in late 2019 by PCS, which is the Pharmacy Control System developed by vendor QMSI. Responsibilities will also include initial triage for other integrated applications including TMS (Transportation Management System) and WMS (Warehouse Management System). The position is to support and maintain all production Dispensing systems and involves working with third party vendors and business and site leadership. In addition, this role includes assisting with software installations, code deployments and upgrades, root cause analysis and resolution of incidents, project documentation and implementation, and ensuring maximum up-time of all workstations and peripheral equipment. Hours will vary depending on business and project requirements. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assisting pharmacy technicians and systems operators with workstations, operating systems and infrastructure
- Supporting user applications and system configuration
- Hardware setup
- Troubleshooting issues
- Monitoring site workgroups for new tickets and perform triage
- Working with other team members and business to support production
- Serving as a key point of contact for the site
- Review and implement the setup of monitoring software as needed
- Creating ad-hoc reports as required by business
- Review project status and make adjustments to meet expected timelines on all Dispensing projects
- Create and submit Change Requests for any activities touching the Production environment
- Manage Incidents and Problem tickets and support projects and initiatives
- Create and maintain documentation of all IT Dispensing processes
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years' experience of systems administration experience
- 2+ years' experience with Windows systems, including Wintel and Windows Server
- 2+ years' experience with PC troubleshooting
- Network knowledge
- You will be asked to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.
- If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas, In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders.
