Project Scope: Our client is looking for a Systems Engineer with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior point of escalation, technical advisor and mentor for other systems engineers
- Partnering with security team to design and deploy security tools, solutions and technology across the technology portfolio
- Maintain, manage, and support the IT infrastructure environment for the entire company, across multiple locations
- Responsible for the execution of approved changes, implementation, and maintenance to systems
- Monitor system health, performance and availability
- Maintain, manage, and support enterprise applications with ensuring security and accessibility
- Configuring, deploying and maintaining network, systems and application monitoring tools
- Use configuration management tools to deploy changes at scale
- Provide 24 x 7 x 365 support through on-call rotation
- 7+ years' experience as a Sr. Systems Engineer, Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Three or more years of direct customer interaction with demonstrated ability to effectively convey complex or technical information to non-technical end users.
- Expert knowledge of 3 or more items from each category listed in the "Technologies" section below
- Core Infrastructure - Windows Server, Linux, Advanced Active directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Performance tuning, Backup and DR
- Virtualization - Vmware SME, Vmware Horizon VDI, Nutanix, AWS EC2
- Networking - Cisco CCNA equivalent, VPN, Cloud networking, virtual networking
- Security - AWS Security, Firewalls, Vulnerability management and remediation, Email security products
- Enterprise Application - Okta, O365, SQL, Atlassian applications, Configuration management tools, Gsuite, ITSM tools
- Monitoring - PRTG, Solarwinds, Opsgenie, Sumologic
