Summary of Position:This position requires someone with heavy customer/desktop/network/server support experience who is detailed oriented with good data analysis/integration skills and can work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You are responsible for coordinating workflows and using IT Service Management (ITSM) systems for managing incidents and requests. The Site Services Technician II will maintain rapport with customers by examining a variety of incidents and identifying solutions for them, reviewing existing IT practices and suggesting improved methods.

Essential Functions:• Monitors the IT infrastructure health and traffic, and reconciles discrepancies within the system in accordance with established procedures• Ability to streamline the technical process by using PowerShell, Visual Studio and other scripting languages• Compiles status reports for management and clients• Responsible for monitoring performance, availability and conditions related to client health, connectivity, and security compliance in a diverse computer/server/monitoring application environment• Processes tickets through the proprietary support system• Manages ticket queue and meets SLAs; accurately documenting steps taken for resolution• Responsible for documenting changes in the environment including Incidents, Service Requests and Change Management

Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 25% of the time. The employee in this position needs to frequently move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 50lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

Required Education and Experience:Associates Degree or equivalent experience, 3 - 5 Years of Experience

Qualifications:• 3-5 years of related job experience• Should possess strong analytical skills, and effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a wide range of users with varying levels of technical proficiency• Able to follow up and drive issues from inception to completion• Passion for investigating issues to find the root cause• Must have good technical knowledge of the following operating systems: Windows Server 2008 R2/2012/2016/2019 and Windows 8/10• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SQL server, and scripting is required• Heavy MS Excel, Outlook and Teams (Skype for Business) knowledge• Ability to automate basic to intermediate tasks with PowerShell• Familiarity with Microsoft Product Studio and Source Depot is a plus• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.• Take appropriate actions to mitigate downtime and troubleshoot internal customer issues• Familiarity with Hyper-V, SCVMM, and SCOM is a plus• Familiarity with network topologies, DNS and active directory infrastructure• Documentation skills are a plus• Detail-oriented with good data analysis/integration skills and can work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.• Possess the ability to identify, prioritize, and organize high priority issues• Exhibit adept customer/desktop/network/server support experience• Flexibility working nights and/or weekends when needed• Effectively shares knowledge with team members• Leverages interpersonal skills to maintain effective and positive relationships with customers and fellow team members• Ability to troubleshoot using tools from Hyper-V to Azure• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
