Meat Packaging Apprentice – Full Time, Mon-Fri, Day Shift

$15.00/hr to start + currently paying additional $2/hr due to pandemic
Join the team that makes Redneck® brand meats in Kalispell! The packaging apprentice works on a team placing smoked sausage, ham and bacon into vacuum- sealed bags for retail sale and foodservice. This is a full-time position year-round, no layoffs, no weekends, paid vacation and paid holidays. Work shift begins at 7am, half hour lunch, usually done by 5:30pm but may work until 7:30pm on busy weeks. The successful applicant is clean, attentive to detail, cares about the quality of his or her work, and can lift 50 pounds. Position starts at $15.00/hour and increases to $15.50/hour after probationary period. During pandemic, employees earn an extra $2.00/hour in appreciation for wearing face masks and complying with preventative procedures including temperature screening. Pay raises depend upon ability to contribute as a team member.
