Welder/Fabricator/Mechanic

Construction Company looking for an experienced welder. We are looking for candidate to weld and repair all types of construction equipment such as excavators, end dumps, loader, etc.

Duties: Include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed.

1. Performs welding repairs and fabrication on ALL types of construction equipment, including welding buckets, excavator booms, and all aspects of construction equipment

2. Welding Truck and Welder will be provided and be used during shift ONLY

3. Follows our company safety rules: utilizes protective clothing and equipment, reports safety hazards and incidents to supervisor

4. Attend safety meetings

5. Completes required paperwork associated with repairs, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.

6. Reviews, completed repairs as identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports and work orders

7. Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

8. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Heavy Duty Mechanic Skills

Company service truck will be provided to right candidate

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has little to no supervisory responsibilities. Decisions on processes, methods and work assignments are governed by defined procedures/instructions.

QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Drivers License. Provide personal tools, we have heavy duty tools in our shop for use. Service truck will be provided during your work shift only. Must have 2 years experience as a heavy equipment welding and fabrication

ADDITIONAL:

Welding/Fabricating Experience

Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair.

Ability to read and comprehend and communicate effectively service and technical information.

Schedule M-F, we are flexible with schedule, can do evening work, weekend work, etc

Occasional Saturdays/Sundays

Day/Night shift position
