Salon Manager

Location: North metro / NOCO

As a manager, you will have a voice in all key salon decisions. Responsibilities:

Elevate customer satisfaction and experience through creative and unexpected avenues.

Meeting/exceeding service and merchandise sale goals.

Strong desire for product knowledge.

Effective and creative product training designed to inspire the team and enhance the customer experience.

Cross promotion of all salon services.

Supporting the planning and execution of ongoing service/sales, and special events.

Inventory management (ordering, merchandising, product knowledge, back bar).

Assisting with recruitment, training, safety, recognition, and legal compliance.

Assisting in the overall management of team.

Interacts with team and management in a respectful manner.

Consistent source of motivation for team.

Resolves and diffuses escalated customer complaints in a respectful manner.

Sharing in front desk duties:

Including with helping customers check in/out, answering phones, becoming a ninja at all salon systems, supporting our salon professionals, keeping the salon flowing, while creating an environment of warmth and professionalism. Management all COVID-19 protocols. Greet customers when they arrive, make sure they feel comfortable, and answer any questions they have about services, products, and scheduling. Check customers in and out personally and through our systems. Answer phones and respond to all email and text inquiries. Resolves customer service complaints in a respectful manner. Maintain a clean and professional environment, including daily cleaning checklists and other cleaning duties as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficient with all systems, policies, and procedures to resolve customer and employee issues.

Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills with team, customers, and suppliers

Strong computer skills, across several different programs and applications

Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Ability to interact cooperatively and build a team to achieve a common goal.

Strong time management skills.

Creative eye for merchandising and keeping the salon edgy.

Ideal Experience:

2 years retail sales/management experience

Associates degree

Cosmetology or salon experience

Essential Functions:

Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekend and some holidays

Ability to attend offsite meetings

On a regular basis, requires continuous mobility throughout the salon

On a regular basis, requires the ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch

On a regular basis, requires the ability to lift and/or move 40 lbs.

On an occasional basis, requires the ability to climb a ladder and maintain balance
