We are currently hiring for an internship position available from May through August.

This position will include learning opportunities covering wastewater treatment and production.

The candidate must be able to interact with the public in a professional and courteous manner.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Working with Aqua Professionals in the field to gain knowledge in the area of wastewater collection and treatment and production.Adheres to all safety and security operating policies, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure a safe working environmentAssists with other tasks or projects as assignedPay Rate $15.00QUALIFICATIONS:Must be at least 18 years oldKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Familiarity with computers and work systems such as Microsoft office suiteExcellent written and verbal communications skills; communicate effectively (clearly, concisely, and professionally) with customers and internal staff.Ability to work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedulesAbility to work outdoors for extended periods of time, weather permittingMust always follow directions and implement safety proceduresA team player able to work effectively in a team fostered multi-tasking environmentWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:May be subject to extreme temperatures, noise, wet and/or humid conditions, mechanical, electrical, gas exposure hazards, fumes, dusts, and mistsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Working conditions include travel to work sites of Essential Utilities and/or other constituents.Aqua, an Essential Utilities company is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
