Staff Accountant

Duties :

Prepare journal entries around many accounting processes such as : payroll, accruals, fixed assets, prepaids, depreciation, amortization, inventory, cash, AR, AP, intangibles, revenue, COGS

Experience with general ledger

Prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure balance sheet amounts are appropriate

Assist in preparing monthly reporting package that is presented to executives

Partner with AR Billing accountant to ensure timely and accurate billings and balances

Partner with inventory accountant to ensure inventory balances are appropriately stated

Partner with AP to understand accrual journal entries to prepare at month end

Preferred skill set :

Bachelor's in Accounting, or similar fields preferred

2+ years of relevant Accounting experience

Strong interpersonal skills

Excel proficiency

Accounting systems experience (i.e. Quickbooks, SAP, Sage, Netsuite, etc.)
